No it's not lol. They lowered the price because they WANT to do that in the long run. Tesla's whole mission is to accelerate the worlds change to sustainable energy. Over time they are trying to make the price cheaper.

The reason for the price raises over the last year was due to the extremely high demand and wait times. Increasing prices means customers don't have to wait as long and Tesla made some temporary extra profit.

Tesla lowering their prices is NOT a concern. They have the best margins in the auto industry making about the same profits as Toyota with 1/5 the vehicle sales.
